We are a husband & wife team who discovered a mutual love for all things chocolate on a trip to Belgium in 2013. Soon after we found ourselves trying all the local chocolate, hot chocolate, & cacao beans products we could find in our then home, San Diego. Bean-to-Belly was born out of an interest in cataloguing our own chocolate conquests. We wanted a resource that told us which bars were "must haves", and so we decided to create one!
Our mission is to taste as many small batch, bean-to-bar, and high end chocolatiers in the world as humanly possible, and to relay any useful information we find along our journey to the general public. Do you have a preferred percentage of cacao, country of origin, or even plantation? Our goal is for everyone to discover what puts the wow in their experiences with cacao. Come join our journey!
